Remembering Well
In times of loss, finding the right words to honour a life can be challenging and arranging a service can feel confusing.
Mark has over two decades of experience leading funeral services and will provide gentle guidance that is professional and compassionate.

Mark will work with you to craft a meaningful ceremony and tribute that celebrates life and embraces the sorrow of farewell.
Planning the Service

Starting with the story
Listening and drawing out your story is a key part of remembering well.
Using a compassionate, narrative-driven approach, Mark will work with you to help you find your voice or help shape words to be read on your behalf, reflecting your loved one’s personality, values, and cherished moments.

Shaping the Content
In the context of your unique story, we will carefully shape the content of the rest of the service. Selecting music and readings that are meaningful and poignant, we will craft a ceremony that can be a celebration of life and embrace the need to say goodbye.
For many years, Mark worked in the Church of England as a minister. Now working as an independent funeral celebrant, he will shape the service with you and can lead services in the broad range of non-religious to Christian.

Collaborative style
Mark prefers to meet with people in person, but sometimes that is more difficult. Meeting over Zoom means we can still connect face to face and allows for wider groups of people to gather if needed.
Whatever the format, Mark will use a collaborative style, sharing service plans and additional resources to help you remember well.
